Testimonials

Interpersonal Communication 4 Steps to Student Success & Cultural Diversity, there is no doubt in my mind this class should be taught in high school. I believe high school is a critical time for students. These activities are not threatening you as an individual; they are delightful, fun, easy, and will make you think about many aspects of who you are or who you want to be. It was such a rewarding experience for me. It opened my eyes and allowed me to see I can become who I want to be.
Interpersonal Communication 4 Steps to Student Success & Cultural Diversity benefited me because we got to learn a wide array of both educational lessons as well as life lessons. The one thing that particularly stayed with me is the lesson of the importance of sticking to your values. The class had me access my own values and helped me to learn about myself on a deeper level through it. The newly gained knowledge helps with how I make my decisions and will continue to throughout my life. All students should have the opportunity to take this course, because it is a game changer.
Taking Interpersonal Communication 4 Steps to Studet Success & Cultural Diversity is one of the choices I wish my entire school had been involved in. The reason why is because through every experience in my life, there was and there will be communication. It helped better my communication skills and enabled me to feel confident enough to make friends outside my comfort zone. It showed me that I wasn’t alone when it came to not knowing how to communicate and express my ideas adequately. It taught me not to be ashamed of what I was thinking and to be confident in presenting my thoughts to people.
I do think that high school or first-year college students should have to take this class. The first year of college is always the scariest; kids are getting the hang of adult life. This is a huge transition, and if they do not understand their feelings, self-awareness, values, and decision-making process, they could be in a difficult time. This class has helped me for the better; it helped me get to know myself. This class would help them focus and understand themselves and be successful in life for high school students.
I feel that this class Interpersonal Communication 4 Steps to Student Success & Cultural Diversity should be taught in high school because it is going to prepare us for the real world, and it is going to teach us many things about what it takes to succeed and what we have to do and the necessities. This class really helped me figure a lot of things out in my life. I learned important things, and I was taught how to communicate appropriately, be successful, and stay positive and confident in myself. The most important reason why I think that students should take this class in high school is o that they can also learn about the Grants Duck Theory.
Interpersonal Communication 4 Steps to Student Success & Cultural Diversity should be taught in school. Most parents don’t know what their kid is going through, and to have that class unexpectedly, could probably change their views—you [Mr. Grant] taught me how to respect myself and also to be more positive to myself. I feel like we all need that inner shine to shine out. But we can’t do that unless we get a class that can help us fulfill that. The course could change your life in a way where you can be more positive and happy.
I have observed over the years the Interpersonal Communication class 4 Steps to Student Success & Cultural Diversity change so many of our student’s lives. I highly recommend if you are a teacher or school district that wants to help your students develop self-esteem, learn how to handle their feeling possibly. Other individuals have feelings, learn the importance of values, and understand decision-making; this program is a must. It’s a game-changer.
The introduction of the Journal of Friends has been a recent enhancement to my COM 1 course. I implemented these changes and witnessed a significant transformation in the classroom dynamics. Devoting the initial 15 minutes of each class to our daily conversations with classmates has proven impactful. The incorporation of the Journal of Friends has revolutionized the classroom experience. The result is a warm and welcoming environment that fosters ease for students.
The 'Journal of Friends'. Once monthly, students choose a new classmate to sit next to. The success of this activity in my classroom has become a classroom community. It has fostered new relationships, diverse collaborations, student support, and trust among classmates.
